Amrapali: The Performer

Today, was your playschool's annual day... you wore a red dress, with black stockings and new black shoes. Today was also the first day your mother was 'okay' with you wearing make up (in fact she was the one who helped out)... Naturally, you loved the idea of wearing make up.

You danced to a song (can't remember which one... you will realise in due course i have a terrible memory when it comes to songs, tunes and beats... in short anything musical. But believe me I do have a great sense of music, though your mother might disagree).

The way you performed this evening brought tears to your mothers eyes... as for me I held on to a little lump in my throat. You, amrapali were absolutely fantastic... I dont just say that as a gushing parent. Words cannot describe what we felt. It was like watching a whole new Amrapali... a one we didn't quite no existed.
